Pakistani woman Seema Haider, who had crossed the Indian border to marry her lover Sachin Meena from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, has once again made headlines. This time, a viral video depicting her with visible injuries and bruises on her face circulated online, fueling speculations of domestic abuse by her husband, Sachin Meena.
The video, originally posted on X (formerly Twitter), quickly gained traction on social media, prompting concerns about Seema Haider’s well-being. However, Seema Haider’s lawyer, AP Singh, dispelled the allegations, labeling the video as “fake.” In an official statement, Singh revealed that the footage of Seema Haider had been artificially manipulated using AI and disseminated on social media platforms by Pakistani YouTubers.
Following an investigation into the video’s origins, the Noida Police confirmed that the viral clip was indeed a deepfake and refuted claims of Seema Haider being physically assaulted.
In response, Seema Haider herself released a statement asserting her safety and denying any issues between her and her husband. She further criticized social media influencers and news channels in Pakistan for spreading misinformation, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
