Vegetable prices in Faisalabad experienced a significant reduction on Tuesday, with decreases of up to 50 percent over the past month.
Reports indicate that the cost of potatoes and onions, which were previously priced at Rs120 per kilogram, has now fallen to Rs60 per kilogram.
Furthermore, carrots are currently being sold for Rs30 per kilogram, while cauliflower is available at Rs40 per kilogram.
This notable drop in vegetable prices has been welcomed by the local community, particularly with the onset of Ramazan approaching.
Residents have called on the government to also lower the prices of other essential items, including ghee and sugar.
