Vaccine trial and nation’s stake

Albert Arooj Bhatti by Albert Arooj Bhatti
August 5, 2021

The corona epidemic in Pakistan seems to be spiraling out of control once again and the government has sped up the process of vaccinations to protect its civilians from the coronavirus and the vaccine, are being imported from abroad on a daily basis. The number of corona victims in Pakistan has exceeded one million.

People in Pakistan, from the beginning,  have been reluctant to acknowledge Coronavirus’ existence and the government’s bizarre policies to refrain the virus are suspicions. For example, the government opened business but reduce the timings which means if timings are limited then the rush will undoubtedly increase. The nation is still unable to understand where the minds who make such splendid policies.

The government has now been announcing various restrictions for not jabbing the coronavirus vaccine in Pakistan but here are a few questions that are disturbing people like us that how the pharmaceutical companies, which are manufacturers of vaccines in the market currently, have become so kind to help a poor and impoverished country like Pakistan that they have started sending vaccines across the country for free.

Recently, Maj. Gen. Amir Ikram, Executive Director, National Institutes of Health said that Pakistan had made a single vaccine, which he named CanSinoBio, to earn $10 million from its clinical trial. Interestingly, the mystery of vaccine preparation has been solved to some extent.

So the story is that when the formula of any medicine is in the preparation stages, the medicine prepared for its test is first tested on different animals and then the positive and negative effects of this medicine on these animals and other factors are tested but since coronavirus had shaken the entire world system, a quick test of his vaccine and immediate results were started on humans and those people are not any other people but the citizens of Pakistan.

The tussle between Sindh and the federation continues even during the coronavirus. Sometimes the Sindh government kept changing its policies and sometimes the federation does the opposite of the provincial government Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah has been adamant for two years that the people of the province may die of starvation, being bitten by a dog or by drinking dirty water, but he will not let these people suffer and die from covid, not at all.

On other hand, And Umar criticized the actions of Sindh in the morning and imposes sanctions all over the country in the evening. Sindh and the federation are on the same page when it comes to the issue of vaccines, and poor people keep wondering how will save the province from disasters.

The whole world knows that Pakistanis never miss a chance to earn money, whether it is the Kashmir earthquake or charity from Saudi, we never miss an opportunity to beg. According to the director of health, if he earned 10 million dollars from a company, then how many dollars would others have had earned?

This work may not be possible in any other country in a world but anything is possible in Pakistan and it seems that the government has sold the whole nation for money like rats, cats and other animals in the name of a clinical trial and It seems that the status of Pakistani people is nothing more than laboratory animals.

The government in Pakistan is so worried about vaccines that those who do not get vaccinated are being warned of various restrictions as the people have become laboratory rats on which vaccines will be tested.

At the beginning of the vaccine trials, people complained about different types of complaints including allergies in the body, but ignorant people like us kept making fun of them, but in fact, the purpose of the clinical trial is to assess its effects. Vaccination is being forced because people who pay for it also demand results whether the drug has been tested on people or not. Certified vaccines will also be given or the whole nation will be able to make money from clinical trials.

The government should bring its members forward to end the sane thinking minds so that the nation can be satisfied. If vaccination is the only condition, then first of all the members of the assembly and the officers and staff of the institutions should be vaccinated and that too in front of the camera to satisfy the people.

They should also tell the name of their vaccines so that the lost minds like us should be acknowledged. Otherwise, the nation would be right in realizing that perhaps the whole nation has made a deal in the name of vaccine trial because as far as the rulers are concerned since when have the rulers been the ones to force people to get vaccinated to save human lives.
