LAHORE: Actress Uzma Khan has recently claimed that she was offered money to withdraw the case against business tycoon Malik Riaz’s family.
In a recent interview with host, Waqar Zaka, Uzma Khan revealed that she was offered money worth Rs20 crores and several properties to withdraw the case against daughters of Malik Riaz.
Uzma’s legal counsel Hassaan Niazi also joined the actress during the interview with Zaka where her advisor told that Uzma was offered Rs10 crores before the FIR was lodged. After the FIR the offer got doubled. “However, the actress did not accept it,” told Niazi.
Hassaan Niazi further revealed that ever since the incident had happened, Uzma has been receiving several random messages and calls. Moreover, some were so inappropriate to tell. He also accused that Punjab police of being incompetent and not taking the action against the matter immediately.
Interestingly, Waqar Zaka had claimed that he was also offered money for not speaking in favor of Uzma Khan. The host created a new hashtag ‘Arrest Amber Malik’ on Twitter on Friday which became one of the top trends on social media shortly.
The incident happened last week on Saturday night. In one of the videos, Amina Usman Malik, said to be a niece of Malik Riaz’s son-in-law was accusing Uzma Khan of illicit relations with her husband, Usman Malik.
