The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced higher visit visa fees for Pakistani citizens, effective immediately. The new rates are 200 Emirati Dirhams for a 30-day tourist visa and 300 Dirhams for a 60-day visa, plus an additional 5% value-added tax.
These changes, starting in June 2024, apply to both new visa applications and extensions within the UAE. Applicants will also need to pay a 500 Dirham country processing fee and a 20 Dirham Innovation fee.
To apply, you need to provide a copy of your passport, a personal photograph, a national identity card (if required), valid UAE medical insurance, and proof of onward or return travel. Applications can be submitted through the GDRFA website or their smart application.
The UAE wants to make the visa process more straightforward and transparent to keep its status as a top tourist destination in the Gulf. For the latest updates and detailed visa requirements, prospective travelers should visit the official GDRFA website or contact UAE travel agencies.
