RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers of Lance Naik Shoaib Ali Shaheed (age 25, resident of Parachinar, District Kurram) and Sepoy Rafi Ullah Shaheed (age 22, resident of Lakki Marwat), who embraced shahadat during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Zarmilan, South Waziristan District, were initially offered in Wana and later at their respective native towns.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both shaheeds were laid to rest with full military honours. A large number of military officers, soldiers including civil officials, public & relatives of Shaheeds attended the funeral prayers.
Armed Forces of Pakistan stand determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism at any cost. Such sacrifices only strengthen our resolve, the ISPR added.
