RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistan army soldiers were martyred in Dera Ismail Khan’s (DI Khan) Darazinda district during a gunfight with terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Saturday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorist’s location.
“During an intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Muhammad Israr, 26, of Attock, and Naik Sajid Hussain, 33, embraced martyrdom,” the statement continued.
According to the ISPR, the location is being sanitized in order to get rid of any terrorists that may have been there.
In an earlier intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out by the security forces in North Waziristan, four militants were killed.
Following allegations of the presence of the militants, security personnel carried out the IBO in the North Waziristan region of Spimwam. Four militants were killed by security personnel during a fierce gunfight.
