Two robbers injured by angry mob in Malir

KARACHI: Two suspected robbers were injured by an angry mob in Malir area of the metropolis in the wee hours Sunday.

As per details, two robbers were fleeing after looting cell phones and valuables from citizens at gunpoint in  RCD Hotel Malir. However, the people chased the suspected robbers, overpowered them and beat them up ruthlessly. As a result, they suffered serious injuries.

The area police reached the spot and took the muggers into custody from the angry mob. Later, police shifted the injured to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.

Police said the robbers wanted in a number of cases and two TT pistols, motorcycle snatched mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

However, sources said that the injured robbers were in critical condition.
