JEDDAH: Two passengers from Saudi Arabia to Karachi have been diagnosed with monkeypox.
According to the Ministry of Health, during the screening, the female passenger and her father had symptoms of monkeypox, both suspected passengers have been quarantined.
After the passengers were diagnosed with monkeypox, both the father and daughter have been quarantined and their blood samples have been sent to the laboratory for testing.
Shabana Gogo and her father Ghulam Qadir Gogo are residents of the Thatta district who were quarantined at Jinnah Hospital.
It should be noted that yesterday a young girl and a young man who came from Saudi Arabia were declared as suspected monkeypox patients.
