Two men arrested for raping minor children in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The police have arrested two men for allegedly raping two children after the children’s parents registered a police complaint.

The incident took place inside Rawalpindi’s barbershop in the New Katari area where both men raped children, a boy and a girl who are five years old.

Police in this regard launched an investigation by registering two separate cases against the accused.

According to Raja Shahzad, the plaintiff of Case No. 553/20 in New Town, on 3rd February at 3 o’clock his 5-year-old son went outside the house to pick up the item.

After returning home, the mother told her that the boy in the bath had called me inside the shop and made a wrong move.

When Raja Shahzad left home at 7 pm, his wife said that the child had said this today. When he went to the shop with his son, the child pointed out that Muhammad Zubair was the one committing the cruel act with him. He had also seen the CCTV camera that was planted in the shop,  

On the other hand, Mohammad Bashart, another plaintiff of case No. 554/20, said that he was guarding the neighborhood on the evening of 28^th February at 5 pm, when his daughter came out to fill water on the street.

He told when his daughter returned home shortly after, she told her mother that the man in the shop had called her inside the shop and assaulted her.

He said that upon knowing what his wife told him, he immediately went tyo the shop and trace the incident through the help of the CCTV camera.

Police have registered a case against both the accused and have started an investigation.

It is said that the accused have been involved with several children and girls who have been investigating till now.
