KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Counter-Terrorism Department arrested two terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan in a joint search operation from Karachi.
According to CTD, a joint intelligence-based operation was conducted in different areas of Kemari. During the operation, the details of the suspects were verified through the search app device.
During the operation, two TTP operatives, Jameel and Amir Hatim, were detained. The CTD spokesman says that the arrested accused were wanted for serious crimes.
It should be remembered that in early January this year, Karachi Police and Rangers conducted a joint targeted intelligence operation in which a most wanted terrorist of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was arrested from Etihad Town.
The law enforcement agencies had said that the arrested person was a close associate of banned TTP commander Muhammad Ali alias Mufti.
The spokesman claimed that the detained man was involved in planning a suicide attack on Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine in October 2011.
