This came to the notice of general public after a tweet by Pubity, saying Twitter had removed the ability to see which device a tweet comes from. (Twitter for iPhone, Twitter for Android).

Responding to the tweet, Elon Musk confirmed that the microblogging platform would no longer show the device a tweet was posted from- be it an iPhone or an Android device or even Twitter Web. He shared a tweet from Pubity which informed users of the same and captioned it as “Hallelujah!!”
