KARACHI: Reactions are pouring in on Twitter following Journalist Hassan Nisar’s ugly spat with female colleague Reema Omer. The apparent reason was the continuous interruption from Hassan Nisar in the turn of Reema Omer when she was talking.
According to details, yesterday in a talk show aired on a private TV channel, Journalist Hassan Nisar engaged in a spat with female journalist and analyst Meera omer while debating over the upcoming Senate Election.
The fight between Nisar and Reema started over the arguments on a question, “Whether the dirty politics of horse trading, rigging and corruption is only in Pakistan?” Reema was presenting her arguments over the question.
Reema stood on a stance that these illegal activities are not only in Pakistan, it is also reported in the countries like India as well. Meanwhile, Nisar was angry over her arguments and started to interrupt her talk.
Reema in reply said, “Please let me complete my point you often interrupt my discussion and speaks very loud which is not ethical”. Nisar in this regard said, “I am deaf, that’s why I speak louder”.
Reema was talking very politely and only presenting her arguments in her turn. The video clip of the program started making rounds on social media, sparking discourse on whether Nisar was rude to Reema.
In his latest demonstration, #Hassan_Nisar used insulting language against soft and very enlightened journalist @reema_omer. However, she remained calm and did not react.
Geo Channel must throw away this ‘thing’ because inviting it to talk to educated people is an insult. pic.twitter.com/yHEd0HUL2r— Aima Khan (@aima_kh) December 29, 2020
Hassan Nisar knows Pakistani politics much better than Reema because he is a journalist …But can anyone tell me what is the credibility of Reema in the field of journalism???
Some ill minded people are playing feminism card…#HassanNisar pic.twitter.com/wy5Zjufy2C— Abdullah Akbar Kasana (@akbar_kasana) December 29, 2020
Hasan Nisar has a unique argumentative style and knows how to handle biased journalists like Reema Omar. Reema will now start playing women’s card and hide behind the so-called and hideous feminism. But, when truth prevails, falsehood perishes.#HassanNisar#AntiPakistanVoices pic.twitter.com/JP4EQ19shs

Hassan Nisar never has anything to contribute to a debate, apart from: “Yeh sab bakwas hai.” Shouting doesn’t give weight to an opinion.
He adds misogyny to his toxic mix of empty and bitter rhetoric, targeting @reema_omer who does use logic and facts for her arguments. pic.twitter.com/G1MDCKnebk
