Two matches of the tri-nation series will be played at the National Stadium Karachi on February 12 and 14 due to which traffic flow will be disturbed as different roads will be closed for security reasons.
The Karachi traffic police have announced a traffic plan for both the days- Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the plan Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for traffic on both days.
Spectators coming from Karsaz, Millennium Mall, and New Town can park their vehicles at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground. Commuters will pass under the flyover to reach these parking areas.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic will be permitted on Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No.10 to Hassan Square, and PP Chowrangi to University Road.
However, it will not be allowed on Karsaz to Stadium Road, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Road to Hassan Square, according to the Karachi traffic police plan.
The same traffic plan will apply to the Champions Trophy, which begins on February 19 at the National Stadium. The tournament will feature eight teams playing 15 matches from February 19 to March 9 across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai.
Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia. Karachi will host three Champions Trophy matches: Pakistan vs. New Zealand (February 19), Afghanistan vs. South Africa (February 21), and South Africa vs. England (March 1).
