QUETTA: Three young men were reportedly lynched to death in Hazara Town area of Quetta.
The three youth were brutally tortured to death when they came to a barber shop to settle a monetary dispute. The youth belonged to the Pashtun community and had gone to the strictly guarded and gated Hazara Town area.
One of the deceased youth has been identified as Bilal Khan Norzai aged 23. The mob mercilessly tortured and dumped their bodies before they succumbed to their injuries.
Hazara Town is located on the western outskirts of Quetta. An estimated two-thirds are of the population are ethnic Hazaras and the remaining are Pashtun and Baloch. The area is closely guarded as it remains at risk from sectarian and terror attacks often against the ethnic Hazara minority.
