BADIN, Khanpur: At least three people were killed and nine others were injured in different road accidents on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, two fast-moving cars collided due to over-speeding in the Badin district of Sindh province. As a result, three people were killed on the spot, while four others sustained severe injuries.
Eye-witnesses said the accident took place due to over-speeding and was so severe that three persons died on the spot. After being informed rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Indus Hospital.
Separately, five people were injured after a bus rammed into an oil tanker on the M-5 Motorway in Khanpur. According to the motorway police, the injured people were shifted to a hospital.
Police said the bus was over speeding and rammed into the oil tanker, added that the bus was traveling from Jacobabad to Lahore.
