KARACHI: The three-day Adab Festival Pakistan (AFP) will begin at the Pakistan Arts Council from 31st January to 2nd February.
It was announced by the founder of the festival Ameena Saiyid. The second Adab Festival Pakistan at 4 pm on all the three days. The keynote speakers are former chief justice of Pakistan Asif Khosa, Dr. Maleeha Lodhi, Amar Jaleel, and Francis Robinson.
In the second Adab Festival, a creative writing course is being held for aspiring writers conducted by Aamer Hussein and Sheheryar Shaikh.
There will be several participatory, interactive sessions on women’s empowerment, the youth, support for emotional health issues (Ask Me Anything by Dr. Ayesha Mian) and life coaching by Sayeda Habib and Naeem Zamindar will also be held.
There will be sessions on the issues faced by Karachi, book launches, comedy, satire, a video message recorded specially for Adab Festival by Prince El Hasan Bin Talal of Jordan.
