ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) ’s Azadi March would end the democratic regime in Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry said that those who call themselves liberals were supporting extremists march in Islamabad.
In a tweet, he posted that those who call themselves liberals admonished, their hypocrisy due to the support many of them were showing to Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s ‘Azadi March’ which carried religious extremist hints.

He added, “The people with dubious standards and shifting stances for not staying true to their ideals and principals.”
Chaudhry further added that if the current democratic regime succumbed to the protesters/marchers then it would spell doom for the future of democracy in the country.
