As a concerned citizen, I feel compelled to express my personal opinion on the current state of Pakistan. Our country came into being in 1947, thanks to the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam, and his contribution to our independence will always be remembered. He was a visionary leader and an inspiring example for all of us.
However, after his demise, the country was entrusted to the establishment and political leaders who did not always act in the best interests of the people. Despite this, Fatima Jinnah and other great leaders tried her level best to guide the Pakistani nation towards the right direction.
Unfortunately, the ruling elite prioritized power over principles, leading the government down a path that favored the wealthy and powerful, while neglecting the needs of the poor and underprivileged. As a result, we see a great deal of division and sometimes hatred among our people.
It is disheartening to see that the nation that once searched for a piece of land is now in 2023, searching for a sense of national identity. We have become a nation divided, with various factions vying for power and influence, instead of working towards a common goal.
If we continue on this path, Pakistan will never achieve justice and equality for all. Instead, we will become mired in a cycle of inequality, illegal activities, and lawlessness. This is not the Pakistan that Quaid-e-Azam envisioned, and it is not the Pakistan that we should accept.
As a nation, we must change our direction. It is crucial for us to understand that we all have a role to play in building a better future for Pakistan. We must unite and work together to create a society where everyone, regardless of their social status, has an equal opportunity to succeed.
We must learn from the mistakes of the past and move forward with a clear vision. We must strive to build a Pakistan where justice, equality, and prosperity are the hallmarks of our society. This will require the collective effort of our institutions and citizens alike.
It is time for us to take stock of our situation and recognize that we have the power to shape the future of our beloved nation. Let us honor the legacy of our great leaders, by working towards a Pakistan where justice and equality prevail.
