ISLAMABAD: Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-N(PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has said that it is good that the Supreme Court(SC) has termed the Deputy Speaker ruling wrong, but it is not enough.
In a tweet after the SC reserved decision on the suo-moto notice against the DS ruling with a remark that apparently the ruling is wrong, Maryam said that the ruling was termed wrong, it is good, but this ruling is not only wrong, it is also a terrible desecration of the constitution and a highly dangerous attitude.
“It is the responsibility of the judiciary to rein this attitude,” she added.
Maryam hoped that those who had violated the constitution would have exemplary punishment so that in the future no one dare to play this kind of heinous game with the country.
