BAHAWALPUR: A 15-year-old girl has allegedly been gang-raped in front of her mother in Khanqah Sharif area of Bahawalpur.
The shocking incident occurred on late Saturday when two unidentified men forcibly entered in the family house, subjected the family members to torture and gang-raped the teen girl at gunpoint in presence of her mother, Police said.
The mother of the victim reported to the authorities that two armed men broke into her home while her husband was out. Police has registered a case against the nominated suspect and his accomplice.
After committing the crime, the perpetrators were able to flee as nearby locals gathered to watch the chaos.
While the perpetrators are still on the loose, local police have filed a case under section 376.
