Teenage girl sent to jail for motorbike theft

KARACHI: An teenage girl involved in motorbike lifting has been sent to jail on judicial remand.

A girl named Beenish was presented before the court of Judicial Magistrate West. The investigation officer in his report presented before the court stated that the accused was associated with a gang involved in lifting motorcycles and snatching in Karachi.

Her two accomplices named ‘Chotto’ and ‘Dadda’ are still at large, as per the police. The suspect was later sent to jail on judicial remand.

The police arrested Beenish, who is also a boxer, from Mauripur Road’s ‘P’ bus stop yesterday. She used to lift motorcycles with two other accomplices while dressing like a boy.

The girl disclosed that Wasit alias Dada and Chhotu are 14-years-old and another Wasit is 20 years of age in the gang. Beenish alias Kattu also learns boxing at a boxing club in Lyari.
