TAXILA: A married woman today (Thursday) was sexually assaulted several times by her husband’s friend in the Shahi Mohalla of Taxila, according to the victim.
According to details, Anila Bibi submitted a complaint stating that Liaquat was a friend of her husband. The victim added that the man forcibly raped her and also filmed the ordeal.
The victim, Anila Bibi, further said that on the basis of the videos, the man raped her several times and threatening to kill her if she reported the incident to the police.
The victim also filed a case against the accused, but due to his influence, the police refused to take action. “The police officer threatened me, and forced to withdraw the case,” she claimed.
Anila Bibi has appealed to RPO Rawalpindi and CPO Rawalpindi to take strict legal action against the accused and the corrupt police official.
It is worth mentioning here that the country is already in a state of shock after two horrific rape incidents were reported from Karachi and Lahore.
A five-year-old girl Marwah was raped and then burned to death in Karachi’s Essa Nagri. Later, a woman was sexually harassed by two men as she was forced to stop by at Lahore motorway in front of her children.
