ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and said that the entire nation condemns this incident.
Addressing the cabinet meeting in Islamabad, he said that an ugly incident has taken place in Sweden and the Holy Quran has been desecrated once again, on which the entire nation of Islam, the government of Pakistan, and the entire nation strongly condemn it. “Demands that immediate action be taken against the culprits,” he said.
He added that this is not the first incident, such heartbreaking incidents have happened before, it has come out from this incident that a narrative of hatred against the Muslim minority has been created in Sweden, and the Pakistani government not only condemns it but also demands it. According to him, the Swiss government should take notice of this narrative.

The Prime Minister said, “I am satisfied that the OIC called an emergency meeting on this issue and condemned the incident and demanded action against the culprits and demanded measures to prevent such incidents in the future. We support the meeting and the decision, our demand from the Swedish government is legitimate and we will also follow up on this demand through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
