MUMBAI: The trailer of the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s much-awaited film Dil Bechara has finally released today (Monday).
The film is the official remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault In Our Stars, based on John Green’s bestselling novel about two teens who fall in love after meeting at a cancer support group.
The film revolves around two main characters, played by Sushant and debutant Sanjana Sanghi respectively. They play two cancer patients that befriend each other in a support group. The film also marks the debut of director Mukesh Chhabra.
Together the two embark on an on-and-off, sad-and-sweet profound journey to live life to the fullest before the inevitable occurs. The film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan, and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
Director Mukesh Chhabra took to Instagram and wrote, “Finally after such a long wait, 2 years of my life. So many friendships close to my heart, so many ups and downs, happy and sad moments. Presenting to you our dream and the dream of my brother Sushant, who will live on in me till my last breath.”
