Hit legal drama ‘Suits’ will soon be back on Netflix with its ninth season.
Season 9 of the legal drama will stream on Netflix next month on July 1. After the series was added to Netflix’s catalog in 2023, it set streaming records and garnered far more interest from younger generations than it did during its original run from 2011 to 2019.
The drama, which starred Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, and — perhaps, most notably — Meghan Markle, hit 3 billion viewing minutes between its two streaming platforms, Peacock and Netflix, for the week of June 26 to July 2, 2023.
News of Suits season 9 hitting Netflix comes after two of the legal drama’s stars — Adams, 42, and Rafferty, 51, — announced plans to team up for a new rewatch podcast of the series in April.
Helmed by Suits creator Aaron Korsh, the spinoff will feature a brand-new cast. For those who are unfamiliar with the world of ‘Suits,’ the law drama followed the journey of Mike Ross (Patrick J.Adams), a college dropout with a photographic memory who landed a job as an associate at a prestigious law firm, alongside the charismatic and sharp-witted Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
The first eight seasons of Suits are streaming on Netflix.
