Social activist Rehan Allahwala sets unique example with son’s simple wedding

Renowned entrepreneur and social activist Rehan Allahwala has set a unique example by throwing a simple wedding for his son despite having the financial means.

Following what Islam preaches, Rehan Allahwala made ‘Nikah’ simple and easy. Rehan Allahwala’s son married simply at Faisal Mosque to set an example for those who are not so blessed financially. Through this, all can follow the same and do their weddings simply, without any burden, he believes.

Posting this positive gesture on his official Facebook account, Allahwala congratulated his son and hoped that others will think on the same line. While continuing, he also shared that he created a 25 Lakh rupee fund for the new couple to go and spend and eat the food for their wedding with less privileged in old age homes, orphanages, and villages.

He also hoped that some people will be inspired by this and do similar work by tieing the knot in a simpler way. Allahwala in another post shared how he has always admired and wanted a simple wedding at the mosque, “I am very thankful to my family and close friends for accepting this wish and making simple nikah ceremony.”
