PESHAWAR: The district administration of Peshawar has decided to implement a smart lockdown in three more areas.
According to a statement issued by Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Aziz Khan, Railway Colony and Falcon Colony of Bashirabad will be locked down.
The lockdown will be implemented in the affected areas at 6 pm and only essential goods and medicine shops will remain open in these areas while unnecessary movement will also be banned in the affected areas. According to the statement, the affected areas have been sealed off due to the high incidence of the coronavirus.
Under the micro-smart lockdown, unauthorized persons will not be able to enter certain areas. There will be a complete ban on public movement and business activities and industrial units. Grocery stores, medical stores, and dairy shops will be able to continue to operate within certain working hours to purchase necessities. Public transport and online services will also be banned.

Moreover, a micro smart lockdown was implemented in 34 Union Councils of Central District of Karachi. More areas in the Central District of Karachi have been closed under smart lockdown in view of the ban on SOPs for the prevention of coronavirus in Karachi.
The lockdown has been implemented in Gulberg Town, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, and some UCs of Liaquatabad in Central District and FB Area from today which will continue till 31st December 2020.
