With two more days to go, Pakistanis are excited to see the thrilling action of Pakistan Super League season 5. The opening ceremony will take place on February 20 at the National Assembly and on the same date, the inaugural match will be held between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
This year the entire glitzy tournament will be played in Pakistan. Almost 36 foreign players are participating in this year PSL.

1) Babar Azam
Babar Azam, the finest batsman in Pakistan cricket at the moment and is playing for Karachi Kings. He is currently the No 1 batsman in T20 with an impressive average of 50.72. Babar has shown that orthodox cricket can also help earn rewards in T20 format. The fans of Karachi Kings are excited to see Babar Azam’s performance and his participation to win the PSL world Cup.
2) Haris Rauf
Talking about t20 performance, Haris Rauf, the new sensation of Pakistani bowling is constantly performing. Haris Rauf is playing for Lahore Qalandars. With an impressive performance in Big Bash League, Lahore fans are hoping the same performance and contribution of Haris in wining this year PSL.
3) Dale Steyn
The South African pacer for the first time is participating in Pakistan Super League’s franchise Islamabad United. The world-class bowler has taken 250 plus wickets in T20 with an economy of 6.73. Dale Steyn is their most experienced bowler and the fans are excited to see him playing in Pakistan.
4) Jason Roy
The explosive England opener is the part of Quetta Gladiators for this year’s PSL. He has emerged as one of the most consistent batsmen for England. He already has four centuries to his name in the format to go with 33 fifties. The strike-rate is also up there at 146.06 with 200 plus sixes. Fans are thrilled to watch him playing and waiting for his contribution to Quetta to win this year’s PSL.
5) Shane Watson
The Australian cricketer is once again retained by Quetta gladiators and he is the second most prolific run-scorer in PSL. Last year, Shane Watson blasted 440 runs and clubbed boundaries with disdain. Fans are waiting to see him play once again.
