In a heartbreaking incident in Jinnah Colony, located in Kot Momin tehsil of Sargodha district, six innocent girls lost their lives.
According to media reports, the tragic event occurred when the girls, while playing, climbed into a drum used for storing wheat.
Sources say that the family members had recently cleaned the storage drum and left it unattended. Unaware of the danger, the girls entered the container while playing and died due to suffocation.
The ages of the victims ranged from one to eight years. Rescue officials confirmed the identities of the deceased as: Maryam (7 years), Sonia (6 years), Dua Fatima (1 year), Sawera Rani (4 years), Amna (6 years), Sumaiya (8 years)
