Legendary singer Sajjad Ali has given his fans a post eidi gift by releasing his new audio song ‘Intezar’ on Eid.
The famous singer chose the ghazal of famous writer Nasir Kazmi for his song released on Eid. He shared the song on his social media accounts and shared that all the fans who have an understanding of poetry would love his song. The legendary singer has also paid homage to Nasir Kazmi.
Sajjad Ali, who ruled the singing industry in the 90s, has given many successful songs to the Pakistani music industry. He is equally skillful at singing as well as composing, as evidenced by the success of each of his songs.
Earlier this year, Sajjad Ali’s son Khubi Ali followed in his father’s footsteps and claimed his space in the music industry with his debut single, Udaas – a rendition of Sajjad’s 2005 track.
Much like his father, Khubi has struck the right chords and hit all the notes in this soulful rendition, leaving his listeners spellbound. His singing style is also reminiscent of Sajjad’s and dare we add; his voice hits rights in the feels the same way too.
The song is evocative of the contemplation one is provoked to do while wandering alone in a cold winter evening. It reeks of awakening while being grounded and simple. Written and composed by Sajjad, Udaas isn’t your everyday amalgamation of gloomy thoughts, but more of solace for those thoughts and the regrets that follow.
