Singer Ed Sheeran tests positive for COVID-19 and self-isolates himself

Acclaimed English singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran has been tested positive for COVID- 19 and has reportedly started to self-isolate himself.

On Sunday, taking on his social media account Ed Sheeran has shared the news of testing COVID positive with his fans, he wrote on his Instagram post that, “Hey guys. A quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines.”

Adding to that, the 30- years old apologized if he has let down anyone and announced that he will do his planned commitments from his home, stating that, “It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in-person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone x.”

Moreover, on the work front Ed Sheeran’s fifth album titled “= (equals)” is all set to be released on October 29, 2021.
