KARACHI: The Sindh government has ordered all the private companies to pay the salaries by 31st March under the Sindh Payments Act.
According to the notification, under the order, companies will be obliged to pay salaries to contractors, contractors, and employees.
The Secretary-General issued the directive on the direction of Notification Fiction Minister Saeed Ghani. On the other hand, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah also directed the families to work on daily wages in the province with cash or cash assistance.
A meeting of the Coronavirus Emergency Fund, chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, was attended by provincial ministers, advisor law Sindh and other officials.
He said that according to the 2017 census, Sindh has a population of five million while in the province one crore to 40 million families are living on a daily wage.
“We have an average family of seven,” he said, adding that it was my duty to help these poor people. He said that he was considering how to help the rightful families, wanting to create a mechanism to provide ration or other assistance to the daily.
