The Sindh Cabinet has sanctioned a five-year extension to the upper age limit for government employment.
It is important to note that this adjustment will not be applicable to positions within the Sindh Police and the Public Service Commission.
As reported by the spokesperson for the Sindh Chief Minister, the meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and included provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, and senior officials.
A range of topics was addressed, leading to several key decisions.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon indicated that this age limit increase was prompted by the prolonged suspension of government job recruitments. The previous maximum age for applicants was set at 28 years, which has now been raised to 33 years.
This measure is regarded as a considerable advantage for individuals seeking to obtain government roles in Sindh.
