SRINAGAR: Shutter-down strike in occupied Kashmir has entered another day as Kashmiri activists have been boycotting the ongoing G20 meeting hosted by India.
According to the details, the strike was called by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. The Indian government has closed schools and colleges in Occupied Kashmir to host the G20 meeting. National Guards and commandos have been deployed for security in addition to the Indian Army.
Drones are being used for the security of the G20 meeting. Ahead of the meeting, several Kashmiris have been threatened with dire consequences in case of protest phone calls. Bunkers common in the valley have been decorated with welcome banners for the G20.
The Indian army summoned the shopkeepers in different areas of Srinagar and instructed them to open the shops, however, the shopkeepers have sent a message to the international community through the shutter-down strike against the G20 meeting that the oppressed Kashmiris want a solution to the Kashmir issue.

The Kashmir issue has been unresolved for the last 75 years, but the United Nations has passed several resolutions in which the oppressed Indian government has demanded to give the oppressed Kashmiris the right to self-determination. The Kashmiri nation wants to be a part of Pakistan, but the Indian government does not approve it.
