Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan recently updated fans regarding her father and veteran actor Kamal Haasan’s health as the latter has contracted the coronavirus.
Taking to Twitter, the actress thanked fans for their prayers and well wishes for her father’s health and wrote: “He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon!”

Earlier On Monday, Kamal Haasan was hospitalized at a private hospital in Chennai after being tested positive for coronavirus. The Indian 2 actor had a slight cough after returning from his US trip, however, the COVID-19 infection was confirmed after the test and he was immediately admitted to a hospital for further treatment.

Famous for his character in ‘Chachi 420’, the actor turned to Twitter and requested everyone to be careful and take care as the spread of the deadly virus has not stopped yet. The Chachi 420 actor tested positive days after his return from the US, where he recently launched a new clothing line by the name of Kamal’s House of Khaddar.
On the work front, the actor is hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 5. Moreover, Haasan recently wrapped up the last schedule of the movie ‘Vikram’. The much-awaited action-thriller, Vikram also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.
