ISLAMABAD: Senior PPP central leader and Senator Sherry Rehman has criticized the Pak-US talks on the issue of terrorism and raised questions regarding it.

“Anti-terror talks with Pakistan to continue, says US, but in what framework? Episodic engagement is not the path to constructive goal-setting. Sustained, structured dialogue is needed to build trust, invest in common ground, protect any gains,” she tweeted.

Talking to US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman yesterday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi called for regular and systematic dialogue between the two countries to promote bilateral relations as well as achieve common regional goals.
