ISLAMABAD: Senior PPP central leader and Senator Sherry Rehman has criticized the Pak-US talks on the issue of terrorism and raised questions regarding it.
In her tweet, Senator Sherry Rehman shared a photo of US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman’s meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and asked if the US says it is holding talks with Pakistan against terrorism. but in what framework?

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan wanted a broad-based, long-term, and lasting relationship with the United States to promote economic cooperation and regional peace.
Talking to US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman yesterday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi called for regular and systematic dialogue between the two countries to promote bilateral relations as well as achieve common regional goals.
The Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the new Afghan setup would work for peace and stability as well as for the betterment of its people. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that both the United States and Pakistan have common views on Afghanistan.
