MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 13 contestant Abu Malik, brother of music composer Anu Malik, has revealed that Shehnaaz Gill had once asked him to tell Sidharth Shukla to marry her.
They shared a close bond and were popular among fans as ‘SidNaaz’. On the show, Shehnaaz had on and off expressed her feelings for Sidharth. Though both of them never formally announced anything about their relationship, they appeared together on reality shows as well.
In an interaction with E Times, hours after the death of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth, Abu disclosed that Shehnaaz had even urged him to ask Sidharth to marry her. “Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020. I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown,” he said, adding, “Sidharth used to love her a lot. He would say that if she was upset, it would affect him as well.”

Abu also said that he is pained by what Shehnaaz must be going through right now, adding that Sidharth also used to love her a lot. Recalling his conversation with the late actor, the musician said that Sidharth told him that his entire day would get spoiled if Shehnaaz used to get angry.
Abu also revealed how Sidharth had once visited his home with Shehnaaz Gill. “We never spoke about this. They spent a lot of time listening to music and chatting with me, then,” he added.
Sidharth was rushed to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday morning, but he was declared dead on arrival. “He was brought dead to the hospital. The cause of the death will be known after the post-mortem is conducted,” Cooper Hospital Dean Dr Shailesh Mohite told PTI.
