RAWALPINDI: The Abandoned Waqf Estate Board has sealed the Lal Haveli building used by former Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
According to the details, the board sealed the Lal Haveli used by Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the presence of a heavy contingent of police and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The board said that Deputy Administrator Asif Khan completed the operation and sealed the main gates of Lal Haveli to hand over Lal Haveli. Awami League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s office was also sealed.

Officials said that the board has also completely sealed the way leading to the main hall of Lal Haveli used by former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid during the operation.
For the operation to dispose of Lal Haveli, 7 units including the property of Lal Haveli and the political seat used by Sheikh Rashid were sealed. The board has also locked the main gate of Lal Haveli.
Speaking to the media after the operation, Asif Khan, Deputy Administrator of the Abandoned Waqf Property Board, said that during the operation, assistance was obtained from the elite force, police, and FIA. Lal Haveli’s registry was not fake.
Deputy Administrator Asif Khan said that the operation to hand over Lal Haveli that the registry of Lal Haveli has been canceled after the operation. Sheikh Rashid can appeal to the court by taking the legal route.
