ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has taken notice of the blast in Karachi and demanded an immediate report of the incident from IG Sindh and DG Rangers.
Expressing grief over the loss of precious lives in the incident, the Home Minister also expressed sympathy with the deceased families and said that all aspects of the incident should be investigated. He said that federal agencies should extend full cooperation to the Sindh government.

On the other hand, Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab has also taken notice of the Baldia Town blast and contacted SSP Kemari to know the details of the incident. Murtaza Wahab said that investigative agencies were examining the incident from different angles and the injured should be provided the best medical care.
Administrator Karachi has expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the Karachi blast. Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Transport Syed Owais Qadir Shah expressed sorrow over the blast and said that he was saddened by the loss of precious lives.
The provincial minister has contacted the secretary of transport and DIG traffic and directed to submit a detailed report of the incident within 24 hours.
