Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday after spending a month abroad.
Shehbaz had flown to London right after the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government had ended. He met his elder brother, Nawaz, in London and participated in multiple party meetings.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Friday was informed by his cancer specialist that all his tests had come back negative for the rare disease.
The former prime minister was told that there is no recurrence of the cancer that has troubled the PML-N leader for a long time.
It was Shehbaz who announced in London that Nawaz would return to Pakistan on October 21.
Nawaz has been in exile since 2019, when the Lahore High Court allowed him to travel abroad on medical grounds.
