‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ is set to stream on HBO Max this month.
2019’s super hero movie Shazam!’s sequel ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ will stream on HBO Max from May 23. The movie opened at No. 1 at the box office in March, it flew in lower than its predecessor, barely cracking a $30 million debut.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the 12th installment of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The first part introduced a foster youth named Billy Batson. He was assigned to a new foster family and suddenly granted superpowers from a wizard making him, and eventually his foster siblings, adult superheroes.

This time around, the film sees Billy Batson (Levi and Asher Angel) and his foster siblings using their transformative powers to take on the Daughters of Atlas, who threaten to destroy the world. Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren round out the film’s cast, while David F. Sandberg returns as director.
