In view of the increasing traffic accidents in Karachi, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon has warned that anyone who drives a vehicle without a license, be it a minor or an adult, will go straight to jail.
The senior minister also warned parents to keep an eye on their underage children and advised them not to drive or you will have to go to jail.
He said that on the sale of unregistered vehicles, showrooms will be sealed and driving will be fined.
He added that it is mandatory to have a fitness certificate. He said that water tankers will not ply on the roads without a bar code. He appealed to the people to get their number plates from the Excise Department which is about 80000.
The senior minister said that the display of weapons on private people was also banned.
