Famous Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi is planning to open his own restaurant in Dubai.

The cricketer shared a video of himself in a chef’s jacket, in which he can be seen slicing tomatoes and showing off some of his culinary skills. The restaurant will offer authentic desi food to people residing in the city.

Shahid Afridi, who is currently playing for the Quetta Gladiators this PSL season, wrote, “One step closer to the big announcement.” Afridi further wrote that he will be revealing other details very soon. “Get ready to give your taste buds a mouthwatering triple tarka,” Afridi wrote.

Through hashtags on his posts, the cricketer shared the name of his restaurant which is ‘Lala Darbar’. Moreover, Pakistan’s all-rounder was appointed as the private news channel named Samaa TV’s ‘Director Sports’.

Shahid Afridi, while joining Samaa TV for the new role, said, “I am lucky to be on a platform where I can promote the future heroes of Pakistan.” “The talent in Pakistan is not just restricted to cricket, there are athletes in other sports as well who can shine for the country if we give them the necessary support,” he maintained.
