Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan will be soon released in Indian theatres there have been multiple calls for a boycott.
In such a controversial time, Shah Rukh Khan’s old interview came to light in which Shah Rukh Khan did indirectly speak about boycott campaigns during his appearance at the Kolkata film festival.
A video of SRK talking about boycott campaigns not impacting him has been doing rounds on social media and is being shared as if he is talking about Pathaan.
The actor in the video can be seen saying, “I don’t want to blow my own trumpet, but this wind(boycott campaign) will not be able to shake me, only leaves are shaken by this.)” However, as it turns out, this video is from back in 2016 and is an interview before his movie ‘Fan’.

The Boycott culture is becoming more and more popular in Bollywood. Big-budgeted movies like Laal Singh Chaddha, and Brahmastra, and many more witnessed intense online campaigning urging people to boycott the lister’s movies.
Usually, the main reason behind the boycott is the claims of Bollywood movies are a den of nepotism, and anti-national and it hurts religious sentiments.
