Pasoori singer Shae Gill has talked about the song’s Bollywood remake in detail since it has upset many social media users.
Originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill in 2022, the quirky number was featured in Coke Studios Pakistan – the country’s longest-running music show. The song fetched more than 500 million views after which Bollywood decided to do a remake of the song which was sung by Indian singer Arijit Singh for the upcoming film Satya Prem Ki Katha.
Now, Shae Gill has talked about the remake of Pasoori in detail and posted a story on her Instagram about the Pasoori remake. Gill said that she is getting so many messages from fans who are asking about Pasoori’s remake, first of all, she does not own the song and she didn’t sell it.

“I didn’t know about the remake, I have come to know about it through you guys,” she said by adding, “Well, even if it has been re-sung, don’t give hate to the song.”
She said that she understands that fans love the original Pasoori so much, its amazing.” Take the remake as a rendition. Also, if you don’t like it then don’t listen to it. Don’t publicly humiliate someone,” she maintained.
