RAWALPINDI: A man identified as the younger brother of senior journalist Sabir Rahi has been shot dead in a house in Christian Colony in Rawalpindi.
According to details, the tragic incident took place in Christian Colony Street no. 15 within the limits of Naseerabad police station where a man named Sujawal lost his life in the firing.
Reliable sources claimed that drug dealers broke into the house and opened fire indiscriminately, as a result of which Sujawal was rushed to hospital for medical treatment. Sujawal succumbed to his injuries at DHQ Hospital. Sources said that Adil Qassai and Farhan Khan, Gulzar, and Sajid are drug dealers.

Adil Qassai and Farhan Khan group continued firing in the area every day. Sujawal Rahi, younger brother of senior journalist Sabir Rahi, also came under similar firing. It may be recalled that earlier in Fateh Jang, unidentified terrorists opened fire on a vehicle, as a result of which Additional IG Motorway was severely injured while his brother Noman Fazal was killed.
A police spokesman said five days ago that the shooting incident at Additional IG Motorway Sajjad Afzal Afridi took place at Fateh Jang Interchange in which he was injured when he met his brother Khaliq Haqiqi.
