Pakistan’s emerging squash sensation, Sehrish Ali, secured the championship title at the US Junior Women’s Gold Squash Tournament by triumphing over her sister, Mahnoor Ali, in a gripping Under-15 final.
Representing Peshawar and seeded at the top, Sehrish overcame Mahnoor in a closely contested five-game match, ultimately prevailing 3-2. The final between the two sisters — widely known as the “Ali Sisters” — was a highlight of the tournament, drawing significant attention for its intensity and display of sibling rivalry at the highest level. With this victory, Sehrish has now earned her 17th international gold medal.
Mahnoor Ali, following a strong performance throughout the tournament, claimed the silver medal.
Earlier in April, Sehrish finished as runner-up at the Australian Junior Open 2025 after a nail-biting five-game final. In the same tournament, her sisters Mahnoor and Mehwish Ali both secured gold in their respective categories.
