ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has rejected the plea challenging the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Amendment Ordinance 2019.
Earlier the petitioner, Farrukh Nawaz filed the petition against NAB) Amendment Ordinance 2019 by raising objections on it but Supreme Court refused the hearing over the plea Farrukh Nawaz.
In his plea, the Ministry of Law and Justice, Prime Minister Imran Khan, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) were named as respondents.
Nawaz in his petition requesting the court to stop from being beyond powers of the Constitution and suspend its operation till the final decision on the petition.
